The PeopleSoft Payroll Functional Analyst manages the end to end payroll process - including production issue triage, problem solving, monitoring interfaces and ensuring delivery accuracy. Also responsible for providing input to new design requirements and interfacing with the business users while assuming the role of a Subject Matter Expert.
-Key resource for business functions as supported by PeopleSoft HCM and other applications in the HRMS group portfolio, including PeopleSoft Time and Labor and Kronos
-Fosters a strong relationship with business users in all functional areas to develop and redesign the business capabilities provided by PeopleSoft HCM and other applications in the HRMS group portfolio
-Understands annual business cycles and how to set up HCM configurations (paycodes, earning codes, job data, tax updates, etc)
-Responsible for the maintenance and integrity of employees payroll and payroll tax records
-Facilitate discussions with technical resources to translate functional business requirements into technology solutions and ensures successful delivery
-Participate in integration change and merger projects
-Develop and execute Quality Assurance queries and procedures
-Maintain PeopleSoft set-up tables
-Run/Monitor interfaces and resolve issues associated with data
-Four year degree in IT or related business area or equivalent work experience
-Expert in PeopleSoft version 8.9/9.0/9.1 payroll for North America, Workforce Administration, Base Benefits in a steady-state environment (production support)
-Strong knowledge of Global Payroll-North America with different payroll methods (salary, hourly, contract, seasonal, bi-weekly, weekly, monthly, semi-monthly) in a multi-state environment
-Experience in setting up PeopleSoft HCM configuration (paycodes, earning codes, job data, etc)
-Recent (within the past year) time and labor module experience
-Experience writing use cases, queries, test cases, and test scripts for PeopleSoft HCM applications
-Experience leading functional reviews with business partners, including facilitation, problem negotiation, and mediation
-Agile methodology experience is a plus
