As part of a team under close supervision, Interns will assist in performing a variety of developmental assignments & learn new business tools. In addition, you will participate in enrichment activities for your professional development. KP has a wealth of online, self-paced learning available in all areas of Enterprise IT systems, management methodologies, & application development. Many opportunities will be available to take advantage of not only online material, but to gain real-world knowledge from experts in IT management, process automation, information management & business intelligence. At the end of the Internship, the intern would have learned about the various activities involved in project management & business analysis.
The Contact Center Strategy Team is responsible for the day to day support and long-range strategic planning of the national contact center platform. Contact Centers are a critical component to member service, providing the first point of contact for members seeking appointment, advice, and pharmacy services. The contact center infrastructure is in the planning phases of a complex upgrade that will provide a more robust support platform. The Vendor Management function within the program is responsible for monitoring adherence to the contract scope, tracking project performance, and providing an escalation/resolution path for any issues that may arise during the course of the engagement.
Coordinating across internal departments to complete legal/financial assessment of existing contracts and identifying opportunities to leverage those contracts across the CCS program. Developing an organizational structure for the internal contract repository (Sharepoint). Working closely with internal project teams, procurement, staff counsel, and external suppliers to create a standardized approach to contract lifecycles
Administering Vendor Management survey and working with team to develop a summary of results and recommendations for improvement
Identifying process improvement opportunities for Change Control and Deliverables Acceptance processes

2.8 GPA or higher
Academic students seeking professional training within a business corporate environment
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Interested in learning about leadership and information technology
Organized, articulate, personable. Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Student should be in a Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance or Management Program
