We’re looking for an ASP.Net programmer to build new features and fix bugs for our various sites (including aviary.com and aviaryeducation.com) as needed. Responsibilities will also include helping to ensure uptime of Aviary’s web and database servers, and to write code for AWS to make our systems more scalable and fault tolerant. This is an entry-level position which will be a great fit for a natural hacker.

Experience
Proficient with ASP.Net webforms applications using C# on server and jQuery in browser
Comfortable writing MySQL database queries
A deep understanding of how serving webpages works (DNS, hosts files, url rewrites)
Knowledgable of IIS configuration settings
Familiar with Amazon Web Services (AWS) specifically EC2 and S3
