Specialist Master, Global Benchmarking position available in Atlanta, GA. Provide executives with industry relevant metrics and insight across multiple sectors. Deliver information through ongoing benchmark studies in areas such as sales, general and administrative (SG&A), finance and accounting, supply chain, information technology, human resources, and operations. Perform data analysis, create and review derived datasets and statistical analysis of benchmark data and assist with the interpretation and presentation of analysis results. Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering (any), Business Administration, MIS, CIS or a related field plus five years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or as a Senior Quantitative Analyst, Manager or a related position. Five years of progressively responsible experience must include: Data extraction, validation and preparation from multiple data sources ranging from in-house database to third party data source such as APQC, iTHC, Compustat and Computer Economics; Conducting exploratory data analysis using SPSS syntax language and other statistical packages; Developing customized analytic solutions with statistical predictive modeling using linear, logistic, exponential and power regression techniques to provide insight and actionable results and recommendations; Creating visual displays of data with statistical validity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio; Developing and automating ad hoc tools to support business user-defined specific requirements using Excel VBA and Macros; Performing Cluster and Segmentation analysis of company financial data to determine appropriate groupings and patterns for further hypothesis testing for efficiency improvements; Conducting factor analysis to determine underlying factors amongst large sets of financial metrics; Identifying and proposing peer groups based on clients' demographics for comparison of financial and operational metrics to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve performance; Interpretation of analysis results, and visualization of key findings to create C-level executive briefing materials; Receiving requests for information and metrics and providing estimates of scope, timelines to perform activities, resources required and expected format and content of output; Project management activities to meet project budget, timeline and deliverables while raising and escalating potential risks and issues as necessary; and Mentoring onshore and offshore resources and timelines of internal and external data requests from practitioners to deliver and execute projects. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree in a stated field plus three years of experience. The employer will accept pre- or post-Master's degree experience.
