This position will take a pro-active and innovative approach to securing the best individuals for the various roles within Timken; which will significantly contribute to the overall success of the company. Lead enterprise recruiting efforts Recruiting a talent pool for the organization which includes pro-active sourcing, attracting, hiring and on-boarding Be considered a subject matter expert in Talent Acquisition to business unit leaders Negotiate salaries, design the search strategy, tie positions to the company strategy, and adapt positions descriptions to meet the changing business need Operate as an internal consultant and expert relative to 'world class' talent acquisition, deployment, and retention practice and strategy to internal client groups Lead strategic pipelining activities to build a diverse pipeline of talent Drive the process of recruiting by strengthening the communication channels with the various lines of business units. Design innovative communications platforms intended to keep hiring managers engaged and responsive. Significantly improve the overall reputation of the Talent Acquisition group with EXCELLENT customer service Build and maintain internal and external networks, consortium relationships, and strategic consulting partnerships to ensure resource availability, best practice information and competitiveness
Required Bachelors degree 9+ years of recruiting/HR experience Desired Masters/MBA and 6+ years of experience
