Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.Works with Global Integrated Business Planning organization in validating the Campus Network Supply Plan through rough cut capacity planning and leveling according to identified resources and constraints for all products across Campus including but not limited to corresponding Product Lifecycle Stages e.g. new product introductions, active, transfers and obsolescence.
2.Ensures the IBP Manager that Campus Network Supply Plan can be achieved based upon available capacity. Reviews such plans on a regular basis with the IBP Manager and collaborates to produce a balanced and supportive plan for the Campus providing solutions to possible supply gaps accordingly.
3.Leads monthly Campus IBP (Pre-S&OP) meetings involving IBP representatives, Supply Chain, Finance, OEM Supply, Quality Operations and Manufacturing Operations to minimize the total of all the cost involved and maximize customer service consistent with the goals of the Campus organization.
4.Creates, deploys and implement the Campus supply chain planning process which will meet global customer demand metrics while maintaining optimal inventory levels. The supply chain planning process determines production and inventory levels in the short and long term (0 – 36 month time horizon minimum) across the entire product supply chain, including OEM and Stryker sites, from key raw materials, work in process, through final sale to Stryker customers. The process also requires gathering the appropriate input from various sources and multiple levels of the organization.
5.Oversees periodic review of all re-order sizes and Frequency of production e.g. EOQs with the Global IBP Manager according to Inventory Strategy and needs of the Selling Divisions.
6.Ensures Material Schedulers and Production Planners (or similar positions) under his/ her direction, plan within the existing ERP system and act upon exceptions and alerts as required; also ensuring the validity and robustness of weekly schedules on an ongoing basis.
7.Maintains supply to the affiliates/customers and Stryker Distribution Centers as applicable according to agreed supply partnership agreements (incl. days of supply) for all products across site and according to agreed Campus Network Supply Plan as defined by the Global IBP Manager.
8.Coordinates and directs periodical scheduling meetings, resolves issues and follows actions arising from meetings such as re-prioritization and expediting of supply of critical products e.g. closure of open quality issues/ agreement of release priorities. Works with Production to review key metrics impacting on assumed Planning Standards and Capacity assumptions – such as Line Efficiencies, Schedule Adherence and Supply Plan of Record.
9.Ensures Master Data updates and parameters are maintained correctly (in required BOM’s/ item production versions of the Planning parameters) in a timely manner and with adherence to defined procedures and processes. At a minimum annually review all process yields and update all master data accordingly.
10.Held accountable to achieve MRPII levels of performance and adherence of Production to schedule and the overall Network Supply Plan.
11.Reviews production procurement needs and align for purchase of quantities in compliance within existing contracts/ agreements. Responsible for preserving production schedules without interruption due to material shortages.
12.Ensures the effective and efficient management of Material/ Bulk inventories in accordance with agreed inventory strategy and required artworks/ change management to mitigate against potential write – offs and obsolescence. Manages Bulk Inventory to mitigate any risks of ‘short dated’ inventory and resulting risks to obsolescence.
13.Proactively sets inventory policies/ strategy in collaboration with Global Network Planning and affiliates for all Finished Goods. Works closely with internal stakeholders to review Projected Inventory on medium to long term basis and resulting Storage Requirements. Provides periodic analysis of Monthly and Yearly inventory projections as requested.
14.Develop and train Planning team to ensure optimum use and application of ERP Systems and all exception reporting. Audit and assess (MRP) adherence to process and planning procedures to ensure consistency, in collaboration with SC Solutions leader and implement appropriate remediation plans.
15.Represent Campus in key Divisional, Selling and Global forums, providing detailed and accurate input as required. Global meetings include input to Product IBP meetings, Advance Operations forums and reviews with Global IBP organization. Divisional/Selling meetings include IBP meetings, Communities of Practice and ad – hoc supply reviews and issue management. Local meetings will include Affiliate/ Customer IBP reviews and internal Campus IBP (Pre-S&OP) meetings, ad – hoc supply reviews and ‘Issue Management’ review meetings.
16.Responsible for the analysis and production of reports and statistics in support of key Forums and meetings e.g. Campus IBP (Pre-S&OP), AO meetings, ad hoc Plant to Affiliate meetings and operational Issue Management.

EXPERIENCE AND NECESSARY SKILLS:
1.B.B.A. or B.S. in business or supply chain management field.
2.Minimum of 5 years production / planning / scheduling work experience in a supply chain related field or demonstrated skills.
3.APICS or other related Certification preferred.
4.Must possess excellent English communication and presentation skills.
5.Strong ERP systems and computer software experience e.g. Oracle, AS400, Excel, Access, etc.
