Upon graduation and obtaining a degree in Nursing from a NLN or CCNE accredited program and Tennessee state-approved program, applies the nursing process to plan and manage the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care. team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Furthers professional growth by engaging in 6- 10 hours of learning activities annually.
RN to work in a busy SURGICAL ONCOLOGY CLINIC MONDAY-FRIDAY. Responsibilities include pre-surgical patient teaching, and consents; post surgical dressings and procedures.
This position requires Graduate of an accredited discipline specific program with 1 year of experience. Surgical Clinic experience with or without oncology experience is preferred.
Current Tennessee Registered Nurse License
This is a full-time position; 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm
