REM Nevada is seeking a Program Director to manage Children’s ISLA operations for four homes in Las Vegas and North Las Vegas. The Program Director position provides supervision, direction, and leadership to multiple teams of professionals charged with carrying out day to day operations and ensuring quality services to young adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. The Program Director also ensures compliance with all applicable policies and standards on the company, state, and federal level. The Program Director is expected to maintain close relationships with regulatory bodies as well as with families and/or guardians. Due to the great importance of relationship building with treatment team and family members, as well as the equally important role of providing direction and leadership to their respective ISLA teams, the winning candidate must be very comfortable with being the “face” of the program.
The Program Director position is a challenging role that requires a strong commitment. We are looking for a motivated, self-starter with exemplary communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Extensive supervisory experience and strong computer acumen is a must. Due to the 24 hour nature of the services we provide, this position requires a great deal of scheduling flexibility.
Bachelors degree preferred plus two to three years of experience in the human services industry
An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.
