The Field Director of Operations is responsible for the implementation, management, supervision and evaluation of all of the organization's operational metrics, in accordance with the standards and procedures set out by the organization. As a member of the management team, the Field Director of Operations participates in strategic planning and budgeting initiatives in addition to problem solving. He/she works within the guidelines, policies and mission of the organization and will be accountable and responsible for specific projects related to operations and as assigned.

Key Job Responsibilities

Administer and supervise all campus population outcomes to include but not limited to: official acceptance rate, attrition and re-enters.

Provide leadership and individual motivation; recommend and implement policies and programs; allocate resources consistent with the budget and mission.

Ensure sound business practices, matching the Kaplan culture and mission.

Identify and define the overall philosophy and goals for the school.

Review, revise, and monitor school policies.

Establish and monitor the following campus metrics/budgets: show rate, official rate, commitment rate, efficiency rate, success rate, attrition and re-enter, operating income (OI), packaging, student satisfaction/learning, employee engagement, facilities, placement budgets.

Participate when needed in the interview, hiring, firing, supervision, and evaluation of personnel.

Establish priorities and goals & supervise and monitor the retention efforts of all departments within the school.

EAST COAST/ MID ATLANTIC AREA

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S.)

5-7 years related experience

Five years or more of well documented professional work experience in directly related disciplines

Strong computer knowledge, especially in Microsoft Office

Position requires exceptional social interaction skills, intelligence, and integrity

Individual must be professional in all aspects of position, including appearance, demeanor, and attitude

Ability to prioritize, handle pressure & responsibility, and work within deadlines strongly emphasized.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Business Administration preferred

Master's Degree preferred

Statistical and financial analysis knowledge highly desirable.
