Responsible for handling 1st mortgage liens and consumer accounts through the loss mitigation process. Job requires knowledge of all investor and GSE guidelines, applicable interest rates/amortizations schedules, personal/business IRS tax forms, credit reports
and property values. Processes borrower's financial documentation to determine if borrower qualifies for any Foreclosure Alternative workout program. Calculates income reviews. Processes related property transactions utilizing basic title and real estate knowledge.
Responsibilities/Duties Evaluate and determine appropriate workout options by adhering to established procedural guidelines that are based on the financial information provided by the borrower, credit report, property value, borrower's hardship and investor guidelines. Then
provide the customer with applicable options that bank offers.Setting up forbearances for Trial plans, Repayments Plan and Standard Forbearance
Reporting payments and modifications to Treasury, Investors and PMI companies. Ensure the FHLMC, FNMA, FHLB and Portfolios Accounts are worked according to their guidelines.
Advise customers of their responsibilities under loan contracts, and provide individual counseling on acceptable and convenient payment arrangements that are available. Negotiate and Process Short Sales to reduce loss to the Investor and or Bank
