Mortgage Quality & Productivity Associate

Position Description:
The Quality and Productivity associate will perform various functions in support of a Mortgage Operations Team.

The associate will provide administrative support with establishing reporting, monitoring SLA’s, managing and resolution of issues (both regulatory and production related), and supporting the operations team with other production related activities.

Additionally, will be responsible for providing business subject matter expertise on the process and ensuring procedures are being performed within guidelines.

This position will bring Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Management and other expertise and experience to the operations team. They will partner with internal value stream leaders to conduct continuous improvement projects bringing enhancements to the effectiveness and efficiency to the operation. Duties may also include change agent, problem solver, facilitator, and project manager.

Principal Accountabilities:
·

Establish and manage production reports and performance SLA’s covering customer experience, pipeline and vendor

management and workflow

·

Become a strategic partner with Value Stream leaders supporting / leading strategic direction, business plan goals, process management, improvement opportunities etc.

·

Lead projects and ensure opportunities

are identified, prioritized, tracked, and benefits realized

·

Work with compliance, risk, vendors and internal stakeholders as needed to meet goals and communicate performance

·

Perform customer satisfaction analysis, data analysis, data transformation, defect analysis, defect reduction, DMAIC, metrics design, performance analysis, performance management, process improvement, process management, quality assurance, quality control,

simulation, SPC, transactional six sigma

·

Establish and update process architecture documentation

·

Responsible for supporting facility and infrastructure

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
·

A college degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage operations

·

Lean and/or Six Sigma certification is strongly preferred

·

Experience developing and deploying mortgage operational reporting (MBF’s, control plans) and implementing action plans to bring performance within acceptable thresholds

·

Experience with risk management and reporting

·

Ability to influence across organizations

·

Change management, influencing, negotiation skills

·

Project Management Skills: familiar with disciplined Project Management protocols

·

Well organized with keen ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

·

Good communication skills

·

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) and client specific application and database programs.

·

Proficiency in Statistical software such as Minitab, sigmaxl or simulation software is desired.
