FIRE: THE TOWN OF JOHNSTON RI seeks a highly qualified and committed fire professional to serve as the town's next FIRE CHIEF and engage the organization in developing a contemporary vision for the Department that sets a new standard for fire departments across the State in the context of new economic realities. Suitable candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, but a Master's degree with a major work in Fire Science is highly preferred. Minimum 10 years experience as a Battalion Chief or equivalent. Salary range for position is $60,000 - $75,000 .
