Cargill Corn Milling North America is a manufacturer of value-added corn and sugar based products serving the Food, Feed and Fermentation segments. From facilities in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Tennessee and Texas, we provide a wide variety of products and services including high fructose corn syrup, corn syrups, dextrose syrups and sucrose that are used in an array of beverage, brewing, confectionery, food and pharmaceutical applications. We also produce a variety of innovative, dry corn ingredients that are used in cereals, snacks, breads, tortillas and animal feed applications. In addition, we produce fuel-grade ethanol and are a leading supplier of corn oil, acidulants, corn gluten meal and corn gluten feed products.

Cargill Corn Milling & Feed Segment is seeking an Experienced, Multi-Talented,

Administrative Assistant

to perform various Administrative duties in their

Bovina, TX facility

. This position works with and supports facility management as well as (30+) thirty plus plant employees. This position requires the ability to muli-task and manages multiple projects and job duties.

Responsibilities include (

but not limited to)

:

General receptionist duties (point of contact for external visitors, vendors, and contractors)

Office supply management, shipping and receiving administration, and maintain copier inventories and maintenance

Answer and handle incoming calls to the facility

File, copy, and fax documents as necessary or requested.

Handle the incoming and outgoing mail for the facility

Schedule meetings/conference calls and make travel arrangements

Some accounting functions, such as month end reports, some accounts payable; electronic receiving, payment generation and problem investigation.

Report assistance; include but are not limited to; accounting month-end inventory, monthly plant operations scorecard, monthly energy report etc.

General administrative support including; typing correspondence, preparing presentations, assistance with travel arrangements, visitor and event planning, etc.

Qualifications

Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent

2 or more years of experience in a related field (e.g., clerical/office manager/plant clerk)

Demonstrated proficiency with a minimum one year experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail

High sense of professionalism

Willingness to work extended hours as necessary

Ability to handle confidential information

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred

Prior administrative experience working in an industrial plant or food manufacturing environment

Prior Experience with Maintenance Scheduling and Facility Monitoring Software (FMS)

Relocation will not be provided for this position
