Job Description:

Candidate will assist in providing Raytheon Ktech with the capability to serve our customers through superb engineering. Should have an understanding of RF theory and design. Ability to work under direct supervision in the operation of RF test equipment to validate and troubleshoot designs. Continually striving to maintain the most up to date knowledge of technological advances within the industry.

Contributes to the completion of routine technical and engineering tasks Assists in the design, simulation, fabrication, and operation of custom antenna systems in support of field operations and product development. Provide hands on engineering support during production and deployment. Solid knowledge of electromagnetic theory and ability to apply theory in real world scenarios.

Required Skills:

2 years experience in a related field.
Candidate must have demonstrated capability in one or more of the following:

PCB Schematic Capture and Layout using Altium Designer

FPGA hardware / firmware development

PIC Microcontroller hardware / firmware development

RF modeling experience using CST MWS or HFSS

Experience using Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and other lap equipment
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with space/launch systems
  • Experience in RF systems and field testing
  • Experience with telemetry systems
  • Experience working with aircraft systems
Required Education (including Major):

BS in Engineering. Emphasis in RF systems and antenna design a plus.

Additional Requirements:
  • Must be capable of obtaining a Class III FAA flight physical
  • This position may required periods of travel, both in CONUS and OCONUS
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD TOP SECRET or higher clearance
