Performance Modeling Architect
Join our Exascale System Architecture Pathfinding team as a Performance Modeling Architect designing scalable computer systems using Intel Processors and Network components for high performance computing applications. The team focuses on areas of power efficiency, memory bandwidth, network latency, and on-die interconnects. Work includes HPC workload analysis and extensive computer simulations. The work involves researching new ideas and solutions to challenging problems in computer design; cooperating within a group, taking initiative and independently developing technical solutions with minimal guidance. This position requires collaboration with senior architects and a variety of engineering teams.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
You should possess a BS, MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering and:
4 or more years of experience in micro-architectural modeling
4 or more years C++ software development
4 or more years of experience with computer architecture
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with hardware design and simulation methodologies
Good verbal and presentation skills, as you will be expected to communicate your designs with peers.
