Tech USA is currently seeking three Manufacturing Associates to join a large pharmaceutical company. This person would be responsible for small scale cell culture manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have pharmaceutical manufacturing experience and the ability to follow cGMP regulations.

•Perform Upstream processing using one or more of the following unit operations in a pilot facility:
•Mammalian Cell Expansion in Static Culture using aseptic technique
•Mammalian Cell Expansion in dynamic Cell Culture using Microcarriers (Bioreactors operations)
•Virus handling and propagation

•Executes production processes for bulk vaccine manufacturing in accordance with cGMP documentation which includes media preparation and support, mammalian cell static culture, operation of small and large scale bioreactors.
•Maintains equipment in area as required per procedure and observes cleaning techniques and performs cleaning activities in the area as directed. Perform CIP and SIP of equipment as needed.
•Ability to operate manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment in support of routine production with limited supervision. Perform aseptic process operations and in-process testing as required by operating procedures. Ability to follow written and verbal instruction with attention to detail and good documentation practices.
•Preparation and updating of cGMP documentation for operations being performed, ability to initiate document change requests and change controls. Initiate deviations within Trackwise system providing comprehensive assessment of issue encountered and ensures training requirements are kept up to date in operations being performed.

•Execute development studies, collect and analyze data, ensure documentation according to good documentation practices
•Write documentation: specific/general protocol, reports related to on-going studies, operating procedures

•Bachelors of Science in a related discipline with a minimum of 2 years related experience and demonstrated working knowledge of scientific principles and cGMP.
•Must be able to read and follow detailed instructions and have very good written and verbal communication skills
•Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
•Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, structured approach to design and execution of experiments
•Open-minded and flexibility
