For more information, email or visit JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for an individual experienced in Application Performance Management. The Application Delivery Engineer will help with improving application performance for both internal Enterprise applications as well as external facing Internet applications. Key responsibilities include: Identify performance improvement opportunities as well as drive the solutions to improve performance.Will work with, and in some cases drive, cross functional teams including; networking, application development, server, middleware, and DBAs in order to: find, document, recommend, and implement performance improvement solutions. Will support and advance our current application and infrastructure monitoring and analysis tool set in order to improve visibility into system and application performance and provide for proactive analysis and action.

Required Skills:
JOB REQUIREMENTS Job Requirements: Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent in work experienceMinimum 7 to 10 years IT experience with at least 5 years in Application Performance ManagementAbility to work independently with high degree of initiativeStrong problem solving/troubleshooting skills and attention to detailsAbility to multitask while managing several initiativesAbility to work with and manage a team with participants from various technical disciplinesExperienced using Application Performance Management and analysis toolsStrong written and oral communication skillsExperienced with capturing and analyzing network protocol traffic for performance and problem analysis across all layers of application delivery; network to applicationDeep understanding of multi-tier web applications; browser, web server, application server, databaseUnderstand mobile application/infrastructure architectureDeep understanding of the following technologies, concepts, and operating environments: Network and application protocols including; TCP, UDP, FTP, HTTP, SOAP, MAPI, CIFSNetwork architecture and technologies; LAN, WAN/MPLS, VPNDatabase systems (Oracle/RAC, MS SQL) and database performance metricsAdvanced traffic management and optimization technologies; Application Delivery Controllers, WAN Optimization Controllers, Global Traffic Management, Web Acceleration, Front End Optimization, Application Firewall, Content Delivery NetworksWeb and web application servers (J2EE, .Net) including; architecture, heap management/garbage collection tuning, web/servlet containers, data sources, resource pools, JDBC Storage area networks and underlying storage systems as well as network attached storage architectureOperating system environments and corresponding performance indicators; Windows Server, Linux, Solaris
