435 Digital is a consulting division of the Tribune Company that specializes in web design and development, search engine optimization (SEO), and social media.

435 Digital is currently seeking a Paid Search Associate to strategize and execute clients’ paid search marketing and paid social campaigns. The specialist will be responsible for understanding client goals, developing account plans to hit those goals, executing on key strategies and tactics, and communicating results to internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, be highly analytical and organized, think strategically, understand business drivers across multiple verticals, be a team player, and effectively use analytics and modeling to make decisions.

The Paid Search Associate is responsible for implementation and execution of clients’ paid search marketing and paid social campaigns, which includes: understanding client goals, developing account plans to hit those goals, and executing on key strategies and tactics, and communicating results to internal and external stakeholders.
This person will need to have strong project management skills, be highly analytical and organized, think strategically, understand business drivers across multiple verticals, be a team player, and effectively use analytics and modeling to make decisions.

Responsibilities:
  • Build, present and articulate SEM media strategies
  • Maintain, forecast and track complex, multi-dimensional budgets
  • Build and manage project workflow and deliverable process
  • Manage program to budget and ensure high profitability
  • Execute search marketing tactics, including: keyword research, ad copy creation, campaign performance tracking & reporting, A/B testing, analysis & segmentation of website user data, manage client ROAS expectations.
  • Participate in client calls
  • Manage campaigns to effectively reach client KPIs
  • Continually evaluate and improve the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Continually evaluate new opportunities for growth and expansion
  • Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends / constantly review the market place for new online opportunities
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing/Communications/Computer Science or relevant work experience.
  • 1-2 years of Paid Search experience preferred..
  • Must have strong problem-solving and time-management skills in order to prioritize multiple assignments, with a high degree of accuracy, and function quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, project management, presentation, and organizational skills are essential
  • Exhibit knowledge of best practices for SEM including working knowledge of Google, Bing, Yahoo search engines, bid management software and keyword research tools. Knowledge of SEO, Social Media and Web Development is a plus.
  • Limited travel may be required
