The primary function of this position is to prepare, form and monitor the blanching of bean batches according to proper procedures ensuring all GMP and quality standards are met and maintain the efficient flow of product through the production process. |
Obtain tools, check silos, rail cars & bean feeders in accordance with work order.
Monitor blanching process, obtain samples, take samples to lab & complete moisture checks & visually check batch operation.
Make minor repairs & adjustments, grease bearings & drive chain, rake out jams & open & close drains as needed.
Clean machine parts, clean spills, close un-used bean bags, place debris & trash in proper receptacles as required.
Complete production paperwork, track lot numbers, downtime log & sample reports as required.
Follow established housekeeping principles
All applicants will be required to have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to work the required shift & weekends.
Must be available for daily overtime.
Must be able to meet the minimum requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Fork lift experience required.
