Description
The Administrative Specialist (position only approved for agencies that have 200 plus patients) under the supervision of the Home Health Administrator. Performs a variety of complicated high level clerical tasks as well as complex computer entry. The person is often spoken of as the glue that holds the agency together.
Responsible for assisting the key leaders with non-routine transactions and duties. Functions include but are not limited to typing reports and memorandums, tracking/analyzing data and filing of various regulatory documents. Responsible for assisting employees with payroll issues.
Qualifications
Education: High School Graduate required or technical/vocational or business degree preferred.
Experience: Five years of advanced office experience preferred. Two years clerical experience in home health care preferred. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are preferred.
Licenses/Certificates: None required.
Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology. Excellent interpersonal skills. Must have keen organizational and time management skills, be able to multi-task and be detail oriented.
