The Marketing Retention Manager will be responsible for managing the transition and the expansion of relationships with assigned dealer partners to maximize revenue opportunities. They will work to maintain existing accounts while generating upsell opportunities via outbound calls and virtual demonstrations of Direct mail and marketing solutions and products to assigned Dealer prospects. These sales professionals will work to distinguish themselves and VinSolutions.com from other marketing companies through their knowledge of advertising, software, the auto industry and their customers.
Generates marketing opportunities with existing accounts via outbound calls and virtual demonstrations of VinSolutions.com products to assigned Dealer prospects.
Expands relationships with assigned dealer partners to maximize revenue. Utilizes the consultative selling process to uncover needs of current customers and present appropriate marketing product campaigns and solutions. Overcomes challenges and objections through the utilization of the consultative model and creation of innovative solutions to close business.
Manages the progress and results of sold campaigns on accounts assigned. Monitors and analyzes account performance and trends to determine adjustments to dealer expectations, goals and objectives.
Collaborates with manager to develop market strategy for account service and growth.
Forecasts business in the pipeline and when it will close.
Analyzes media buying cycles, marketing and target demographics to meet dealer’s ROI goals and data.
Determines, with clients, the best product combinations for each account based on a customer needs analysis.
Researches prospects and understands their business before offering new solutions.
Completes documentation, as outlined in the sales process, within the CRM
Tracks activity, and updates opportunity and account information in CRM.
Completes monthly reports (sales pipeline, account development) in a timely fashion.
Communicates with management about obstacles and challenges with dealers and processes.
Performs other duties as assigned.
HS Diploma or GED equivalent and 2 years (inside or outside) sales
experience required with some call center required; Bachelor’s degree is
strongly preferred. Account management or service role and automotive
and media advertising experience strongly preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and
