The Pediatric Outpatient Occupational Therapist is responsible for the assessment and treatment of the neonate through young adult patient populations with physical, cognitive, or psychosocial dysfunction. The OTR is responsible for maximizing the patient's functional occupational performance. The individual in this position is required to appropriately interact with all patients regardless of age or culture and to adhere to the Beaumont customer service standards. Bachelor''s Degree or Post Baccalaureate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university occupational therapy program.

Must be certified with NBCOT and registered with the State of Michigan. Must have experience with Feeding, Sensory Integration, Handwriting, Fine Motor Rehab, Perceptual Skills and some vision, splinting and casting skills. Must have experience working in an outpatient peds setting with neurological, orthopedic, autism spectrum, developmental and related diagnoses - both acute and long term.
