Community-based Internal Medicine Residency. The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Northwest Campus College of Medicine is seeking a Program Director with proven leadership to administer and oversee a community-based Internal Medicine Residency Training Program which is located at the regional campus in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The Program Director would have a faculty appointment in the Department of Internal Medicine at UAMS. This newly developed program is affiliated with the Northwest Arkansas Graduate Medical Education Consortium, consisting of five local healthcare systems dedicated to residency training in Northwest Arkansas. The successful candidate will be an internist with proven excellence as a primary care clinician, medical educator, and administrative leader. Applicants must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine, qualify for licensure in the state of Arkansas, have had at least five years as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency program, and at least three years of graduate medical education administrative experience.
