Ph.D. in Clinical or Counseling, Psychology or related field required. One to three years experience relevant to specific program needs and patient populations preferably in mental health or medical acute care setting. Current license by the New Mexico State Board of Psychologist Examiners appropriate to degree is required.
Primary Job Functions
The Behavioral Health Clinician will work as a primary care team member using an integrated care model. This position is at a PCMH site that will be embedded ina large local employer's corporate facility. This individual will provide brief, time-limited, evidenced-based therapy to individuals, families, and groups in the primary care setting. In addition, this person provides consultation-based services to Primary Care Providers to assure the enhancement and maintenance of patients’ physical, psychological, and social function. May perform clinical supervision for other clinical staff within the Behavioral Health Program. Clinical supervision is defined as regular, ongoing supervision of clinical care provided by another trained and experienced professional.
