SENIOR PROGRAMMER ANALYST-DATA INTERFACE:
Full time positon for a Cincinnati-based hospital system. This position acts independently, under general supervision, assists in the development, maintenance and support of enterprise service bus (ESB), messaging middleware, data interfaces and data exchange and common data systems. Apply technical skills to build enterprise integration solutions for business and technical projects of small to large level of complexity. Utilizes enterprise service bus (ESB), messaging middleware tools and techniques to accomplish objectives. Maintains existing ESB and integration code base and develops enhancements. Troubleshoots and tunes existing ESB and data interfaces. Work towards utilization of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) to expand and enhance the abilities to accomplish objectives. This includes the following activities in regards to the ESB, messaging middleware, data interfaces, data exchanges and common data systems. Design, develop, test and document real time interfaces, batch interfaces, CCOW interfaces, and other interfaces. Assists with data investigation and testing methods for data interfacing. Prepares and implements data verification and testing methods for all aspects of interfacing. In addition, the Senior Data Interface Programmer/Analyst will provide other interface and/or system support as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Computer Programming, Information Systems or related field, including healthcare or Information System
EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years in Other-- as a Java, eSQL or Visual Basic programmer. Working knowledge of FTP and TCP/IP. 2-3 years experience in other programming Language. Working knowledge of FTP and TCP/IP.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Various information tools such as Message Broker and MQ Series. Various programming languages and/or data extract tools. Various operating systems such as UNIX and Windows. Knowledge of databases, database concepts, and Health Systems Information Data.
