Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatric Rehabilitation or
Rehabilitation Counseling required. LMHC or LICSW licensure at the independent level of
practice required. Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) certification within one year of
employment preferred. Three to five years experience working with people with psychiatric
disability and co-occurring disorders, in community psychiatric settings is required. Valid
driver’s license required. Must have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be willing
to use it to transport clients. Preference given to bi-lingual/bi-cultural applicants and applicants
with lived experience of psychiatric conditions.

We are looking for compassionate, caring, dynamic staff to provide outreach services to clients living with psychiatric conditions in Lawrence. Working as part of a Collaborative Action for Recovery (CAR) team, the Clinical Coordinator III will provide clinical expertise and outreach services to adults receiving services under the Department of Mental Health’s Community Based Flexible Supports (CBFS) model. The Clinical Coordinator III will provide consultation and training to both clients and other team members on mental illness, evidence-based psychiatric treatment and risk reduction strategies. The Clinical Coordinator III will complete Assessments, develop Individual Action Plans (IAP) and provide coordination and liaison services for CBFS clients with community and hospital resources.
This is a fast paced position geared toward helping clients engage in the recovery process and become a part of their community. Using a motivational enhancement and strengths based rehabilitation approach, this position focuses on engaging clients and helping them evaluate their current life circumstances compared to their hopes, dreams and plans for the future.
To succeed in this role you must have strong time management, writing and organizational skills. You must also have 3-5 years human services experience, a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field required along with licensure (LICSW, LMHC). Candidates for this position must be at least 21 years of age and have held a valid US driver’s license for a minimum of 1 year and be able to satisfactorily pass both a driving check and a CORI check. Additionally, this position requires a fully insured vehicle that you will use in the course of your daily work. You must be willing to transport clients in your vehicle.
