Specific Job Description
Employee will begin in a training mode while becoming knowledgeable in the following: Material coordination and Inventory Management of FBM missile hardware, miscellaneous support equipment and support equipment repair parts. Plans, coordinates and statuses material in support of production sequences and span times. Material planning to include reviewing, analyzing and interpreting D5 Production schedules to ensure necessary missile hardware/repair parts are available in support of Three Month Requirements Plan, Short Range Production Plan and Master Schedules. Coordinate material movement to and from SWFLANT, Sunnyvale and Eastern Range. Review production schedules and attend meetings to ensure efficient material movement from the warehouse to production. Material Requirements Planning in support of the Service Life Extension program, to include material receipt and shipment of items to support that program. Coordinates material needs in support Fleet Operations to include successful testing of hardware, planning and disbursement to the Fleet. Job requires identification of material/repair part shortages and taking proactive steps to request and obtain material to support operational needs. Job duties include processing material receipts, disbursements, transfers and expediting material requirements as required. Job requires daily interface with management, Government personnel, FBM community and other Lockheed personnel. Position requires a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education. Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
