With the opening of the new Hussmann Global Hub, we are looking for a person that can be responsible for various activities involved with the coordination and operation of the activities and events planned within the Global Hub. This person will be required to work with internal employees (i.e.: Leadership team, Sales and Product Managers, etc.) and external customers, visitors and suppliers to ensure a positive experience from their visit to the Global Hub. This is an entry level, full time position until further evaluation can be made about the type of ongoing resources that will be needed to sustain the Global Hub.
Set up room for each visit, including management of special displays, etc.
Management of other special displays needed anywhere on the property
Turn on and off lights as needed in various events
Manage AV elements as needed through each venue
Schedule Global Hub visits, creating agendas, schedules of activities, making necessary logistics arrangements, understanding important business drivers and objectives of the visit and facilitate the flow of events.
Coordinate hosts and content experts that will be meeting with the customers during the visit, helping them with collateral and information that will be used during the visit and provide logistic support as needed during the visit.
Understand the operational aspects of the displays and activities within the Global Hub. This includes general understanding of the server system, programs used for the various venues, learn how to update content and develop new content as needed, support maintenance and other technical aspects of the Global Hub system
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs (PowerPoint, excel, word)
Communication and organizational skills to work on multiple projects at one time and interact with internal and external customers using the Global Hub.
Establishment and Development of procedural guidelines.
Maintain Hub facility ROI and related budgets and reporting of customer visit details.
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business Administration or Marketing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, excel, word, outlook)
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Superior organizational skills preferred
