SUMMARY
Our client is searching for an individual responsible for maintaining and supporting Corporate Business applications. Primary responsibilities are to develop and maintain efficient dotNet web and desktop solutions. As a part of this individuals responsibilities he or she would manage all aspect of the System Development Life Cycle for their projects.
1. Application development 55%
Develop new dot modules as required
Investigate program problems & provide sound solutions
Modify existing programs
Write test script and test new releases software
2. Production Support 40%
Work with internal customers to understand scope of problem
Investigate system problems and determine effective solution
Assist the internal customers with analysis of business issues
Implemented bug fixes
Interface with software vendors
Work with Network staff to resolve network & desktop issues
Monitor system for capacity and performance issues
3. Administration 5%
Maintain documentation of system modifications
Communicate plans, status, and issues to appropriate management team
Participate in project status meetings, conference calls and system reviews
Update Project Tracking and problem tracking systems
Share information and train other staff members
Prepare status reports and updates
Experience & Education
2+ years of experience
Bachelor Degree in Computer Technology field or equivalent experience
Knowledge Required
Individuals in this position must possess the following:
dotNet framework, and Object-Oriented Programming concepts
ASP.net, C#.net and VB.net (VB6 nice to have, not necessary)
SQL Server, SQL Language
XML, HTML
Use, creation of Web services
Server Applications Support
Windows environment file management
General Internet Knowledge
General Windows/PC settings, configuration, troubleshooting (NTFS, Domains, Active Directory, etc)
General Networking knowledge, including but not limited to FTP, TCP/IP, DNS
Win2008 or greater Server, Security, Admin
Use of two- and three-tier architectures
Understanding of DLLs, ActiveX, objects
ASP.Net
IIS Configuration and Security
IP Monitor or SNMP based monitoring
