Summary: Responsible for the coordination, development, consolidation and monthly monitoring of the Hospital’s annual budget. Responsible for the development, maintenance and monitoring of Hospital’s productivity targets and reporting. . Responsibilities specifically include management and reporting of the monthly actual to budget spend analysis, collection, analysis and presentation of key management statistics, accumulation and analysis of key financial data using various reports in Meditech, Microsoft access and Kreg Software. The position works with patient care areas developing and reviewing salary and non salary budget to actual reports. The position participates in a number of weekly and monthly Sr. management meetings and is responsible for, on a regular basis, special projects and analysis for both the CFO and Controller. The position has responsibilities for month end close as assigned, supports internal and external audits and is responsible for the coordination of external surveys and reporting data.Education: Minimum of a 4 year college degree with a concentration in accounting/finance. Experience: Four to five years experience in an accounting with a concentration in forecasting. Must have the ability to work with Sr. management and manage multiple tasks in a fast past environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word required. Knowledge of Microsoft Access, PowerPoint and Kreg Software preferred. Experience in the health care industry highly desirable with clinical budget experience. Strong written and verbal communications skills required.
