.The Per Diem Nurse will act as an integral member of Global Health Services (GHS) and provide support to integrated teams including occupational health professionals, employee assistance professionals, and wellness professionals for multiple sites in PA (based in Malvern). The Per Diem Nurse will be interacting with other departments including Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Human Resources, and Site Management. The Per Diem Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing services and emergency (first-aid) treatments to employees who become ill or suffer an accident on company premises, arranging for transportation to another care provider, if needed. Under supervision of a physician, administers medications and performs various minor treatments or therapies for injured or ill employees. The incumbent may be providing various preventive health evaluations and tests in accordance with the company Health Services program protocols. In addition they may be involved in performing health evaluations and other services within the integrated employee Health Services & Resources strategy including but not limited to: health screenings, drug screenings, Phlebotomy. Because this position will be part of a medical environment, understanding of confidentiality issues and regulations is vital.

Qualifications - Registered Nurse (occupational health preferred including experience with drawing blood) (ER and Med Surgical experience would be considered) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional interpersonal, customer service, and time management skills are required. A sense of urgency required while maintaining a high degree of professionalism. Experience with a medical documentation database software preferred. Familiarity with worker's compensation claims management, medical records filing procedures, knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, appointment scheduling and compliance with OSHA regulations is preferred.
