Our client is a 400+ bed Medical Center providing a full continuum of care including 24-hour emergency care, inpatient and outpatient surgery, obstetrics, pediatrics, nuclear medicine, dialysis therapy, diagnostic imaging, intensive care, physical therapy, and home health. Interwest Search is assisting our client in search of Staff/Clinical Pharmacists. The position has a variable shift (10 hour) and excellent opportunities for growth and development.
Qualifications:Education: Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from accredited school or college of pharmacy. Residency in hospital pharmacy is desired. Pharmacy License in the State of California is required. Experience in hospital pharmacy as an intern pharmacist or pharmacist is required. Knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations, clinical pharmacy, unit dose drug distribution, IV admixture and aseptic technique. Knowledge of age specific related skills and competencies applicable to clinical and distributive hospital pharmacy practice demonstrated by initial and annual competency examination and skills validation test.
