Northrop Grumman Information Systems has an opportunity for a candidate to work closely with the Independent Research and Development (IRAD) team researching new technologies and software applications.
The candidate in this position will research techniques and analytical methods in order to gain practical experience. Object oriented design experience is a plus, and experience with software development in .Net (C#) and/or Java, web services, mobile computing and system integration is desired. Must be proactive and capable of operating independently with minimal guidance; must be able to professionally collaborate and interface with customers, technical and other staff. Must be able to distill and analyze information, develop and present written and oral reports to staff.
Basic Qualifications: To be considered for this internship candidates must have:
A minimum of 1 years of college credits focusing on a computer science or engineering major
Must be capable of operating independently with minimal guidance
Excellent oral and written communication skills required
U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Object Oriented Design preferred
Software development experience in .Net (C#) and/or Java, HTML 5, web services, mobile computing and system integration is preferred
