Job Summary: This position will support LLUHC’s strategic plan and the organization’s mission to continue the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ, while embracing the core values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Wholeness. Under the leadership of the Project Application Service Leader, the Application Coordinator is responsible for delivering services through people, processes, and technology. Assists in project implementation and oversight of recommendations and project activities. Prepares and defines system objectives and scope. Responsible for design, build, testing, validation and ongoing support of applications. Obtains and maintains in-depth knowledge of the software functionality, and acquires knowledge of workflows to be implemented on the system. Collaborates with peers, Project Application Service Leader, and user representatives in the design and build of the system to support the workflow. Defines and documents system requirements and specifications for all projects assigned. Performs other duties as needed. Job Specifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field required. Minimum of four years related experience in healthcare or information technology will be considered in lieu of education. Minimum three years experience in healthcare related field required. Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, rapport-building, presentation, and documentation skills (or apparent aptitude for such), and ability to plan and organize technical and analytical work. Able to use project planning software, spreadsheets, and word processing software; input data, typing, copying, and effective use of the telephone. Excellent verbal and writing skills; able to communicate effectively and clearly in English, in writing and verbally. Ability to deal effectively with people and elicit support from other areas and vendors. Excellent planning, problem solving, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to analyze and interpret data, analyze and interpret processes and needs based on limited information; define problems and solutions; make recommendations. Able to manage time effectively and plan and implement objectives effectively.
