As a Product Development Engineering Intern at SpecTek, a subsidiary of Micron Technology, in Boise, Idaho, you will develop, debug, and maintain test code. In this position you will be expected to understand the part data sheet.
Roles may also include end application development in a lab setting or with customers in a collaborative fashion. You will be expected to interface with internal and external engineering groups to resolve issues.
Your responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to:
Analyzing yield and testing issues.
Implementing and qualifying test time reductions.
Developing and implementing engineering monitor.
Analyzing and implementing corrective actions for customer returns.

C++/Python/Perl coding skills.
Electronics/Electrical circuit knowledge
As applied to the part
As applied to the test equipment
Knowledge of digital systems and logic gates
Knowledge of transistor operation
Basic understanding of the entire semiconductor memory process flow (NAND, NOR, and/or DRAM). (Optional)
Semiconductor device knowledge. (Preferred)
Familiarity with computer hardware such as chipsets, motherboards, and RAID cards. (Preferred)
Familiarity with NAND/NOR controllers and their interface to the memory device. (Preferred)
Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
