Prepares exhibits for acquisitions and surplus property conveyances in accordance with guides and procedures. Uses CADD principles to work with Microstation Electronic files involving roadway design and hydraulic design. Uses Microstation software to download the necessary electronic design files and references files from the appropriate files server. Interprets and reviews road/bridge construction plans to determine if all revisions have been provided. Researches plan library to verify correct present right of way information is identified and ensures the information provided is accurate and complete. Designs acquisition exhibits and manipulates the file to edit and correct identified errors including property line locations, right of way limits, text field data, line styles and acquisition figure amounts. Determines the appropriate scale in which to prepare the exhibit to provide a clear representation of the acquisition for the landowner. Converts the electronic files to PDF for use in the Department's title to real estates, easements and condemnations. Serves as office liaison between on-call consultants and the Department for all project questions dealing with the preparation of acquisition files. Performs quality control check on acquisition exhibits prepared by on-call consultants, sub-contractors and local public agencies to ensure the exhibits meet Department standards. Performs other related duties as required.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
A bachelor's degree and three (3) years of right of way acquisition or real estate appraisal experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
Two (2) years of experience with Microstation or CADD software.
A valid motor vehicle operator's license.
