Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Marketing and Product Business Team Leader opening to lead our Commercial Laundry function in the Integrated Business Units.
What You Will Do
Product Business Team (PBT) lead
Define strategy and scope of new projects
Management of new product launches
Ensure new product development projects deliver on time and live up to the expectations of the Commercial Laundry Trade Customers
Manage Commercial Laundry product line issues
Quality focus - management and prioritization of resources to deliver expected product quality
Export model launches
Manage relationship with OEM multi-load laundry suppliers
Develop the Commercial Laundry marketing strategy
Lead advertising strategy and PR activities
Manage product launches
Develop and execute the Commercial Laundry five year product strategy
Develop and lead the product launch strategies and all materials to support the new product launches for domestic and international
Plan and manage the 2013 Maytag National Convention
Lead competitive analysis
Lead regular meetings with Supply Chain, (production planning and demand planning)
Manage new product transitions
Manage product availability issues and constraints
What You Need To Succeed
Firm grasp of marketing methods and processes to ensure growth
A proven ability to launch new products
Confidence in actions and decisions to help drive a successful product launch
Ability to travel moderately
Embody Whirlpool's culture of respect, integrity, diversity and teamwork
Analytical, financial and computer competence
Bachelors degree in marketing, MBA strongly desirable
5-7 years of work experience in marketing
Ability to manage relationships
Strong consumer focus
Exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal skills
