This position is a technical team lead for Banner development, consulting, and support; as well as third party software systems that integrate closely with Banner. Responsibilities include organizing, coordinating and directing the activities of staff members, providing leadership in the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of software projects that support, enhance, and continuously improve the University's mission critical core administrative systems. Specific areas for which this position has project oversight responsibility include all Banner Student, Banner Finance, and Banner HR modules, including various third-party software solutions. This is a hands-on supervisory position which will require oversight of other staff members as well as the ability to perform technical work assignments.
The individual in this position works closely with the IT Manager of Enterprise Information Systems regarding personnel decisions, technical roadmaps, and resource needs. This position will assign resources to projects, and manage operational tasks on a daily basis.
In depth knowledge of the Banner Student module is essenital, as well as expertise in PL/SQL. Familiarity with other Banner modules is highly preferred.

Six years of progressive experience in programming and applications analysis including three years in a supervisory capacity is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with nine credit hours in programming and three years of experience in business applications consulting or development; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

This position is subject to the Career Banding Salary Administration Plan. If candidates are not identified at the Advanced level, management may consider candidates at a lower competency level. Pay will be commensurate with applicant's competencies as well as budget, equity, and market considerations.

Salary Grade Equivalent: 83 (for reduction-in-force priority purposes only)
