Practice Opportunity Highlights
Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 270 provider multispecialty group practice seeking an experienced certified nurse practitioner or certified physician assistant committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care and willing to support an established medical oncology practice as part of a growing cancer care program within a multi-specialty medical group framework.
In collaboration with physicians of the Cancer Program, the well-qualified candidate will provide high-level independent services to patients within the Cancer Program. Clinical responsibilities include assessment, consultation, management of follow-up patients, triage resolution including add-on patients and infusion room complications, laboratory follow-up and oversight of chemotherapy administration at all program sites within the scope of practice. The provider will participate in the new patient consultation process and will support and participate in the provision of integrative medicine services. The provider will also ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the medical treatment facility and request timely consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated.
