Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Facility Manager – Clinical Operations to be responsible for the facility management discipline within the clinical and healthcare portfolio in Southern Florida. This position has responsibility to oversee and manage the facility management team, building operations, financial performance, client relationships, team training and development while ensuring delivery of high levels of customer service. The Facility Manager is responsible to manage all properties in compliance with regulatory requirements for a healthcare business. The operations will be managed within the acceptable parameters of the Key Performance Indicators that have been agreed to by the company and the client. This position will interface significantly with account and client leadership and may be called upon to participate in new business transactions and lead property transitions within the account.

FACILITY MANAGER – Clinical Operations

Responsibilities:
Provide leadership to the facilities team, managing the delivery of real estate services at client owned and leased properties. Manage the Facilities Management activities of multiple healthcare facilities including surgery centers and senior activity centers. Accountable for financial performance, employee development, client relationships, Engineering and Operations compliance contributing to the success of the client and the firm. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Overall responsibility for the activities of all employees engaged in operating and maintaining the facilities portfolio
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Facility Management Services, including relationship management with the client, property owners, their representatives and the facility management team
• Meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators, goals and objectives
• Ensure facilities and real estate services are in compliance with local codes and regulations, protecting the client, customers, team members, service providers and suppliers
• Ensure programs exist at all properties for preventive, ongoing and anticipated maintenance and repair programs for all equipment and assets
• Manage facilities operations in compliance with sourcing policies including local, regional and national contracted services
• Provide accurate budget preparation and management with emphasis on minimizing expenses by efficient use of manpower and resources
• Manage financial performance by providing accurate reporting, including but not limited to monthly variance explanations and re-forecasting full year expenses
• Develop and mange annual expense budgets, periodic expenses and multi-year capital project plans
• Collaborate with the project, planning and transaction teams to ensure projects and initiatives are executed in a timely and efficient manner
• Manage the employee development and performance program, to include performance evaluations with direct reports and ensure all staff members have meaningful and effective performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle and client policies and procedures
• Develop and monitor annual training programs for management and technical teams
• Interface with Strategic Occupancy Planning to ensure efficient use of client owned and lease space
• Work closely with Project Management to ensure seamless hand off of completed projects from Project Manager to Facility Manager
• Ensure on time and accurate completion of team and individual initiatives
• Ensure compliance with critical environment programs, processes and reporting requirements
• Provide input and information as required supporting the development of portfolio strategies and initiatives
• Identify, drive and participate in improvement initiatives that will benefit our clients and customers
Qualifications
• College graduate or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with clinical or healthcare emphasis
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Facilities Manager or similar position in a healthcare environment required
• Prefer experience managing multiple locations with a mobile staff
• Superior client relationship management skills
• Ability to plan and manage within budget and time constraints
• Experience with managing multiple vendors and projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational and management skills including interpersonal, supervisory and presentations skills
• Proficient in MS Office, and possess strong written, verbal and people skills
