Job Description
Kelly Services is looking to fill a Buyer position in the Pensacola area. The buyer will report to the Site Manager and will manage the purchasing process through identifying proper sources, obtaining quotes and placing orders for stock and non-stock material requests through SAP (PeopleSoft) system. The Buyer will have frequent contact with the customer both in person and over the phone. Other responsibilities include working with suppliers to negotiate competitive pricing and meeting customer delivery requirements; handling all Match Exceptions associated with Non-Stock purchasing and the expediting of open orders.
This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external customer suppliers. SAP knowledge and MRO background preferred. Associate-s Degree or 1-2 years of relevant work experience required.
