Responsibilities :
This position will work with the four Supply Managers supporting many of the work processes of the Base Chemical Supply organization.

The primary purpose of the Supply Coordinator (SC) is to serve a defined group of internal Shell and third party suppliers optimizing product availability and costs in the supply chain. This involves understanding the supply chain and executing the transactional work processes for production, sales, exchanges, and purchases. This role also interfaces directly with customers.

Supply interruptions can have an imminent effect on customer relationships which can lead to potential damage to the business and the aspired performance targets. The purpose of this role is to provide efficient, effective, and safe supply coordination, logistics support, stock management and associated order to cash handling services, liaising with other groups as required. The job scope has capacity to grow as the successful candidate’s experience and aptitude are shown.
Ensure supply operations in accordance with the Group and Downstream Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental requirements.
Manage the inventory, movement, and transactional entries into logistics systems for a product or group of products, overseeing many parameters of the sales or supply process.
Update and maintain Supply/Demand spreadsheets.
Participate in Supply month end closing process.
Accountable for surfacing and resolving short term issues, as well as identification of chronic issues, including opportunities for improvement.
Serve as routine back-up for other group Supply Coordinators
Transactions: A significant number of transactional activities including:
Process Orders
Exchange Orders
Sales Orders
Purchase Orders
Customer/Vendor set-up
Pricing condition updates
Import/Export related work processes
Marine approval related work processes
This position does not have any direct reports.

Requirements :
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum five (5) experience in supply or logistics.
Bachelor’s Degree.
Demonstrated experience with GSAP or other SAP versions.
Expertise in creating/using large complex Excel spreadsheets preferred.
Proven experience with customer activities preferred.
Proven product supply experience preferred.
Proven supply chain / scheduling experience preferred.
