Pre-Si Validation Engineer
Job Description: In this position, you will be responsible for pre-si verification of next generation CPU and/or SoC products. Responsibilities include but not limited to developing OVM test bench agents, test bench environment such as BFMs, checkers, monitors and assertions. You will also work with emulation team to use the emulation platforms for developing test content and exercising them to find corner case bugs and run content that benefit from emulation speed. You will be also responsible for understanding the design specification in order to develop detailed test plans and tests to exercise the design. You will write coverage in system Verilog to get the coverage space and analyze the coverage holes and take appropriate action. You will be running regressions and debugging failures. You will also participate in enhancement and maintenance of the SoC test bench infrastructure and test bench components written in System Verilog and OVM.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through relevant previous job experiences or project work.
Must have an MS degree in Computer or Electrical engineering
- Minimum 1+ Programming knowledge in Verilog, System Verilog, VHDL.
- Minimum 1+ Programming skills with C/C++, knowledge of Perl scripting
- Minimum 1+ CPU architecture, Digital Logic and VLSI knowledge / course work
