The
Pharmacy Billing
Specialist performs day-to-day functions related to pharmacy coding
and billing. Participates in the resolution of pharmacy billing
issues and collaborates with system personnel to develop protocols to
minimize future occurances. Ensures that all pharmacy processes are
completed in a timely manner and that all projected incoming revenue
is captured and reconciled against prescription
records.

Requirements
Minimum
Qualifications:
High
School or equivalent.
Formal course work or training as
a Pharmacy Technician or in Accounting.
Two (2) years
experience as a Pharmacy Technician. One (1) year experience in
patient accounting or pharmacy billing.
Preferred
:
Two (2) years experience in billing
or patient
accounting.
