The role is accountable for customer-centric analyses for the business unit to support the development of business strategies and business planning. The candidate monitors and assesses the impact of tactics at the National and Regional level to drive executional excellence and commercial success. Serve on the Multiple Sclerosis Business Unit leadership team as a strategic member to provide overall analytics supporting the brands. Leverage knowledge of the business challenges, industry best practices and the ex-ternal environment to proactively identify opportunities and formulate workable, inno-vative solutions.
Extracts data from systems and analyzes to routinely and clearly communicate business metrics in support of the strategic objectives. Monitor business performance at National and Regional level and report on key performance indicators. Manage reporting of sales performance. Work with Marketing Science to develop analyses appropriate to the local level in support of the Sales. Responsible for supporting the Head of the Business Unit (BU) and the BU Leader-ship Team (BULT) in overall development and implementation of the strategic busi-ness plan to meet annual BU financial and business objectives and 3-5 year strategic business plan.
Responsible for supporting the Head of the Sales in the development and implemen-tation of the strategic account plans. Identify regional market trends, local business opportunities in support of MS account level plans. Support BU Head to respond to portfolio performance questions that originate at the Executive level. Responsible for dentifying & addressing gaps in analyses needed to support the BU and coordinating the execution of the work required.

Minimum requirements
BS Degree
Graduate degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, operations research, economics).
Significant computing and programming experience on server and PC environments using statistical packages (SAS, Excel). Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership skills. Ability to work independently. Proactive approach to meeting the business needs. Marketing or Sales analysis experience. Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical industry, products and customers.
