Supports Industrial sales management with the promotion, sale, service and delivery of Snap-on branded and non-branded products to various industrial customers. Provides superior customer service and maintains contact and professional relationships within various territories and key accounts such as schools or other key industrial customers. Aids and supports Snap-on's market position and helps capitalize on current and emerging customer needs. This position covers Denver, Colorado and counties North of Denver.
Using various software programs, creates sales quotes and assist with placing customer orders.
Support sales management initiatives by preparing customer presentations.
Provide prompt, courteous, customer support on customer premises and from home office.
Support assigned customers by providing single point of contact for researching order status, product information and availability and account status.
Develop and implement appropriate solutions for problems identified, using vatious online and manual reference materials, sources and field manager input.
Responsible for accounts and assigned inventory reconcilations, as required.
Manage reporting requirements including; but not limited to; call reports, board reports, travel and expense reports and customer call documentation within timeframes identified by manager.
May assist with accounts receivable (collections) for assigned customer accounts.
Must be proficient in MS office suite products including outlook, word, excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Indigo or other ordering systems, a plus.
Strong communication and presentation skills (includes written, verbal, presenting formal and informal programs and information, and wearing professional/appropriate attire.)
Solid problem solving and customer service skills and ability to work independently.
Capable of managing multiple priorities, meeting tight time lines by using strong organization and planning skills, while maintaining quality and accuracy.
History of successful performance in achieveing goals as responsibility increased.
Must have a valid drivers license with clean driving record.
Must pass initial and any future security and background checks; as required by Snap-on, customer(s) and/or states/locations.
Travel required 0-30% or more depending on sales territory, accounts or team assignment. May require overnight travel.
Ability to lift and/or move safely up to 50 lbs and to follow safety guidelines and policies.
Assoc. or BA degree in business or related field preferred or 1-3 years outside selling experience. Knowledge of industrial business/customers, familiarity with features and benefits of professional tools (e.g., Snap-on products) - strongly desired.
