***We are seeking a Care Manager to support the BabyNET online prenatal education program***
The Inova HealthNET team offers virtual coaching/education to clients. The BabyNET program provides online prenatal education complemented by personalized, one-to-one support from a Care Manager through regular email and phone check-ins. Care Managers support clients that can include insurance plan subscribers and/or employees enrolling through a workplace wellness initiative. Health educator will work remotely consulting with expectant and new moms through email, some phone calls to support healthy pregnancies. Position is virtually based. Occasional in-person team meetings as well.
This is a PRN position- as needed basis. Days and hours will vary depending on the number of clients enrolled in the programs and the level of client engagement.
Job & Education Requirements:
-Demonstrates the ability to handle highly complex situations with sensitivity and a strong sense of professionalism.
-Demonstrates strong communication, time management and organization skills.
-Demonstrates technological competence with email, the Internet and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Background in maternal/child health as an educator, RN, etc required. Certified childbirth educator preferred.
-Demonstrates an ability to independently carry a client case load as well as work as part of an expert team.
-Performs necessary administrative functions in accordance with program policies.
-Maintains professional status and knowledge base related to field to ensure the highest quality educational programs.
-Owns and maintains viable online connection, personal computer and phone. Health educator must have and maintain necessary technology to support this type of remote work.
