Nurse Manager, Cardiology/Cardiac Cath Lab Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center 5645 West Addison Street (at the intersection of Addison & Central) Chicago, Illinois We are seeking a Nurse Manager for Cardiology, which includes Cath Lab, Cardiac Diagnostics and Cardiac Rehab. The Nursing Manager is a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) that practices within the scope of the Illinois Nurse Practice Act to ensure the delivery of comprehensive, high quality, individualized nursing care, based upon knowledge and experience, the nursing process and leadership skills. The RN incorporates the carative factors of human care and performs established procedures in accordance with the organization’s and the nursing division’s policies, procedures, and standards of care. The Manager supervises the clinical and patient care delivery and has 24-hour accountability, authority and responsibility of the operations of assigned units. Duties include management of human, fiscal and material resources and implementation of policies, procedures, standards and regulations. Qualifications include a current Illinois RN license and progressive leadership experience. Critical care experience required with previous cath lab experience preferred. Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred. Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center is conveniently located in beautiful Portage Park on the northwest side of Chicago.
