Duties and Responsibilities: Collection of open accounts receivable, maintaining and monitoring of customer credit limits, requesting Dun " Bradstreet credit reports, posting of daily cash applications, reconciling Accounts Receivable, preparing reports to management and credit insurance provider, assisting with reconciliation of monthly and quarterly A/R close in the ledger, and more.Investigate issues related to non-payment of outstanding invoices and initiate the required action for payment resolution.Ability to research and understand changes to a customer account (relating to credits, short payments, over payments and duplicate payments) along with the ability to communicate it to the relevant team members.Research and resolve deductions (pricing errors, allowances, over/under payments, etc.).Maintain timely and accurate records, customer communications and account reconciliations.Frequent interaction with sales and finance personnel to identify root causes and resolve issues.
Requirements: The ideal candidate must have 3+ years of BOTH corporate collections and corporate credit analysis experience.Must have good oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, high level of integrity and initiative.Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment and flexibility to work hours needed to meet deadlines.Must have strong Excel skills.Must be able to work in a team, recognize problems and offer potential solutions.Must be self-motivated and be able to work with minimum supervision.Must have ERP experience (Epicor is preferred).
