The Program Coordinator serves as the executive assistant to the Associate and Assistant Vice-Presidents of the University Financial Aid Office. Responsibilities include administration and oversight of office operations and special tasks, serving as liaison between the Financial Aid Office and other university departments, preparing written reports, maintaining the office operating budget, requisitioning supplies and materials, coordinating events, and problem solving customer service issues. In addition, the Program Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining office publications, which includes training materials, along with the office’s policy and procedures manual.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Personal computer experience
Knowledge of software packages for word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
Organizational skills; ability to prioritize work; detail oriented
Ability to deal professionally with students, staff, faculty, and administrators
